Getting Started with Dreamweaver
In Dream Weaver, a site generally consits of 2 parts: a collection on files on a local computer and a location on a remote web server that you upload the files to when you're ready to. when you creat a local site assets in the local site's root folder.
In Dreamweaver the term "site" can refer either to a website or to a local storage location for the documents that belong to the website. The lattter is what you need to establish before you begin buildint a website.
A Dreamweaver site consists of as many as 3 parts dependimg on the computing enviormrnt and the type of website you're developing.
The Firtas task is to copy the sample into the desired folder on your hard disk. With the folder selected drag it into the desired location. You'll define th folder that you copied into the my sites folder as your local folder.
In the Site Name text boxx, you enter the name as the name of the site.
Next, in the local Root Folder text box, you will specify th folder that you copied to My Sites folder.
The next step is to specify the default image folder.

HOCUS-FOCUS
Six Differences:
1) There's a pattern on the woman's shirt sleeve and on the second cartoon.
2) There's a plant on the first cartoon.
3) There's a bird cage behind the wall on the first picture.
4) The small boy's hat is facing the opposite way on the second picture.
5) On the first cartoon the big guy is holding glasses.
6) The woman's collar in the first cartoon is thinner then in the second one.
How would this activity help you as an HTML programmer?
It might help you pay attention to what you're doing.
How many differences did you discover?
I discoverd 6 differences in the cartoon.
Do you see these differences once they were pointed out to you?
Yeah... I saw the differences.
The way I could write a better code in the future is to pay better attention to the instructions and check my
work every few minutes.Six Diffrences: 1-11-10
- The hat of the boy on the second picture is up.
- There's a sign on the tree on the first picture.
- The car on the first picture has an antena
- The bus stop sign on the first picture has another sign below it.
- The boy leaning in the tree has a diffrent patterned shirt on the first picture.
- The boy next to the dog looks surprised on the second picture.
